The "Baltika-Baku" company was renamed into Carlsberg Azerbaijan

Since February 14, 2017, "Baltika-Baku" LLC has been renamed into "Carlsberg Azerbaijan" LLC. This step was carried out for further integration of the company into the Carlsberg Group, the part of which is the brewery in Azerbaijan, and the unification of the corporate style with other group companies.

The legal organizational form and details of the company are not changed, except for the name. The company does not stop its activities and will continue to fulfill all its obligations in the future. All rights and obligations of "Baltika-Baku" LLC will be transferred to the legal successor - "Carlsberg Azerbaijan" LLC. 

The plant is located in Khirdalan city, 10 kilometers from the capital of Azerbaijan. It has been part of the Carlsberg Group since 2008, and in May 2009 the plant was opened after reconstruction. Being the leader of the country's brewing industry with a market share of about 75%, the company is one of the largest non-oil sector enterprises in Azerbaijan Republic and the working place for hundreds of citizens.

Paying the annual tax deductions in the amount of 15-20 million AZN and thanks to the completely transparent conduct of business from 2015, the company received the status of a "tax partner" of the Ministry of Taxes of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The production capacity of the plant is 10 million decalitres per year. The company provides jobs for about 190 people and about 400 mediated (distributors, agencies, contractors). The total investment of the company in the development of the plant is more than 47 million AZN. The company produces beer of such popular brands as Xırdalan, Tuborg, “Baltika 7”, “ Baltika 0”, “ Baltika 9”, Xırdalan Export, Kuler, Əfsanə, “Zhigulevskoye firmennoye”.
