Produced from locally grown barley in Azerbaijan using Carlsberg Group’s advanced innovative technologies, the non-alcoholic Xırdalan 0.0 beer was once again one of the main partners of the Baku Marathon, held on May 4th at the initiative of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
Organized for the eighth time under the motto “Conquer the Wind,” the Baku Marathon aimed to promote a healthy lifestyle. The start and finish point of the race was the State Flag Square, and the event stood out for its high level of participant engagement.
This year as well, Xırdalan – known for its unforgettable taste over the years – supported marathon participants with its fully non-alcoholic version, Xırdalan 0.0. The brand also actively participated in the event with over 100 runners.
Male and female participants of the marathon competed for the top 3 spots on the track. In both men’s and women’s categories, the 1st place winners were awarded 3,000 AZN, 2nd place – 2,000 AZN, and 3rd place – 1,000 AZN, along with medals, certificates, and special gifts.
It is worth noting that Xırdalan 0.0, a partner of the Baku Marathon 2025, is a pasteurized, light-colored non-alcoholic lager beer. It contains no preservatives. Made from high-quality yeast, Xırdalan 0.0 is known for its rich aroma and exquisite taste, and has already gained significant popularity among consumers.
Alius Antulis, Managing Director of Carlsberg Azerbaijan, stated:
“We are proud to be a partner of the magnificent Baku Marathon, which attracts the attention of thousands. Launched last year, Xırdalan 0.0 is the first 0.0% alcohol beer produced in Azerbaijan and offers participants a refreshing experience while preserving the classic beer taste.
Today, I am running the Baku Marathon for the third time, and I look forward to greeting the runners at the finish line with an ice-cold Xırdalan 0.0!”
