On May 15th, the Baku Marathon-2022 was held by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation. The event was sponsored by the non-alcoholic beer "Baltika 0".
The primary purpose of the fifth anniversary marathon under the slogan "Beat the wind!" is the growth of sports in popularity and promotion of a healthy lifestyle.
The 21-kilometer long "Baku Marathon 2022" started and finished at the National Flag Square. The largest race in Azerbaijan involved more than 15000 track fans.
