On May 5 with a high-level meeting between took place Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Nikos Kalaitzidakis, EVP CEEI, regional and local teams . 

During this meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed, marking a significant milestone for Carlsberg Azerbaijan. The agreement, with a total investment value of 30 million AZN during 2025-2029 is aimed to support the localization of raw materials and packaging, improvement of work conditions, brewery and commercial equipment renovation, sustainable development and increase export of Azerbaijani beer. 

Additionally, the company’s successful operations in Azerbaijan and its support for local production were highly appreciated during the meeting, and potential future steps were discussed.
